Date: Tentatively April 3-4 or April 17-18
This will depend on the availability of a space. There was a general consensus that we should shoot for the month of April.
We have decided that the event will probably last two days and it will be preferably on a Friday and Saturday.
Venue:
Two venues have been noted as possible locations:
Polytechnic Institute of NYU:
- They have space that can be used free of charge
- There is access to a 300 person amphitheater
- There are classrooms that can hold approximately 30 people
Pace University:
- They prefer to hold events after the semester ends on May 12th
- No outside caterers are allowed.
- The cost for meals is $40 per person for two days.
Action Items:
- Restructure text describing the event
- Develop a form that guages interest for the event
- Create a set of subtopics for the event
- Create a list of potential sponsors
- Create a list of presenters/facilitators for the event
